Blue Maverick is a house surrounded by tropical nature, located just 5 minutes from Playa Cocles—perfect for those looking to disconnect and experience authentic Caribbean life in Costa Rica’s South Caribbean region.

Our home is set on a chain of hills at an altitude of 100 meters, surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. Built with a north-south orientation, it features a spacious terrace at canopy level, where you can enjoy magical sunrise and sunset moments while observing local wildlife up close.

Many of our guests have mentioned that the abundance of wildlife around the house has allowed them to spot monkeys, birds, and other tropical animals so easily that they felt no need to visit a national park to experience true nature. Additionally, Blue Maverick actively supports the Ara Project and features a nesting box installed for the great green macaw (Ara ambiguus), which is now inhabited and home to chicks. Guests have a unique opportunity to witness firsthand the conservation efforts of this endangered species. We also collaborate with Api-Agricultura, a project dedicated to the preservation of native stingless bees, further contributing to the protection of local biodiversity.
